How do I protect your information?

I never ask for credit card numbers or payment details. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of people who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. I implement a variety of security measures when a user enters or submits their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

Blog comments

When visitors leave comments on my website I collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitors IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. After your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. You can choose to be notified for follow-up comments by email and be notified for new posts when you leave a comment. These things are optional and only you can opt in.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, I use cookies to collect information on your browsing behaviour. Cookies are placed on the device you are viewing the site on and remember when that device accesses the site. These cookies do not collect personal information but monitor your behaviour whilst browsing. If you leave a comment on my website you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. This is so it’ll save you time if you comment again however this is optional. These cookies will last one year.

These cookies and the information they collect help improve this site for yourself and future visitors by monitoring traffic of users and success of particular content. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.

Embedded content from other websites

Occasionally, at my discretion, I may include links to other articles, images or videos on my website.  These websites may collect data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with that embedded content. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. I therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, I seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

Third Party Plug Ins

This site uses Google Analytics to collect information such as details of traffic and visitor behaviour patterns. I also occasionally check my stats on WordPress. You can opt out by using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Do I share data?

I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless required to do so by law or for giveaways where I collaborate with a brand. An example of this is choosing a winner and me needing to pass on the winner information to the brand in order for you to claim your prize. By entering any giveaway or entering such information, you are agreeing to the terms therefore if you aren’t happy with this don’t enter giveaways. If a giveaway is collaborated with a brand I will clearly state this.

How long do I retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on my website (if any) the personal information you provide is in your user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal information at all times except usernames.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. • 💫 And just like that, we’ve got through Monday.👊🏼 I had throughly enjoyed my weekend of just taking things slowly and chilling, I definitely need to have more weekends like this.✨ Since moving, I honestly love just hanging out in our living room because the space is sooo bright (can’t wait for longer ☀️days) and also I just feel so cosy here. 😻 Fee has her little spot at the end, right next to the radiator for the colder days too. I think I just need to get a few more pictures 📸 on the wall (currently being very fussy), maybe some more 🛋 cushions & definitely some more house plants. 🌿 Any home decor reccomendations? 💫

Now I need new book 📖 recommendations, what’s on your current reading list? 💫 #2020reads
  • 💫 Monday evening, you are a welcome sight! ✨ I’m honestly so happy to see the back of Monday BUT I did focus and get a lot done at work so I guess I can’t complain too much. One good thing about today is that I’ve started trying out the #gifted eye serum that @dermalogicauk sent me, so I’m excited to report back in a couple of weeks and see how my skin is feeling! #skinfluencer #bioluminceye
  • ✨“Small steps everyday, lead to something wonderful.” 💫 Not gonna lie, I’m really enjoying January (for like the first time ever) So I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year shapes up to be like. 💖
