A savvy tip for hashtags on Instagram!

It’s all about using hashtags the target down to your industry or preferred audience.

Using relevant hashtags is so very important because it helps you connect with people in your niche and connects you to people who are interested in what you post daily. You want to use hashtags that your potential new followers are already browsing and they are active about responding or following along with your future content.

Broader hashtags can sometimes be great for a quick storm of likes, however, they do not go very far in seeking out an active and interesting audience. If you are just starting out with hashtags it’s a good idea to do hashtag research and see what others in your niche are using for hashtags and come up with a set of 30 (or more) that fit you.

There is no set formula with hashtag marketing on social media, so I recommend you slightly alter each post with different key words and see if there is a pattern or a dramatic difference – it’s a great way to learn more about your audience!
