Christmas gifts: A Little Snippet from 2018

January 6, 2019 in Lifestyle, Mindfulness - 7 Comments - 3 min read

Christmas has been and gone!

Can you believe it? I loved every second of it. I think my favourite part of the holidays this past year was just hanging around with my family and sharing Christmas gifts.

We were a small party of three this year and honestly it was the most chilled Christmas ever. Literally just what I needed for a festive holiday (massive break from the reality of work and social media).

So, since the holidays I’ve seen a few posts showing off lovely christmas experiences and gifts. So I thought it would be fun to share a couple of gifts that I recently received, and also share how they are going to help me have a better, more fulfilling 2019.

As always I’m so grateful for any Christmas gifts I receive, The idea that someone took time to wrap and exchange a gift, warms my icy heart a little bit.

Kapton & Son

Is this not the most beautiful backpack you’ve ever seen? So, last year I struggled to find a suitable bag for work, that would fit my lunch in, be easy to carry and work for my commute.

Kapton & Son

So I thought? Why not a fancy backpack? And, hello – this backpack is super lush and gorgeous. Kapton & Son is a truly gorgeous brand. I’ve been test running it on my way to and from work this January. And its perfect.

I fit my lunch in and a book without having the struggle of a handbag and a really sore arm (for some reason I need to pack my whole world to go to work).

Facemasks galore

So, if you’ve read my News Years post – you know a little self care time is at the top of my list. Facemasks are often the the perfect 10 minute time out for me. So to receive literal stash (which will hopefully take me through to early March, makes me feel super happy!)

2019 skincare

We have a really busy event period at my work – usually from February to March where I’m away here and there for exhibitions. While its fun and exciting, standing on your feet all day at an often air con blasted conference room can be really awful for my skin. So I always like to pack a facemask for the away stay so I’ve got a little pamper time lined up in the evenings.

While I love my facemasks, I’m also looking for some perfect handmasks and footmasks. So if you have any you can recommend, I’d love to hear it!

Disney Calendar

Now, this is just a super cute gift – and one I love because I’ll using it every day of 2019. For as long as i can remember, i’ve always been gifted a cute page a day calendar.

They’ve ranged from, learning a new word a day to crazy cat of the day. I just think these are the cutest gifts to get. SO this year, when my beautiful Mother gifted me a disney picture one, I was so happy!

Christmas gifts disney Calendar

Everyday I get to view a new beautiful shot of Disney and if that doesn’t put you in a mood every morning with your cuppa – what will?Mambi Stickers

Creative Planning Stickers

I’m all about creative planning and very invested in getting assests to help me. So getting these cute mamba stickers set my little creative brain off!

creative planning stickers

I’m trying to plan two weeks ahead in 2019 – just so I know what my immediate plans and weeks are. So having inspirational stickers and planning functions really help break up my week. Plus its literally just adorable!

I’m a planner girl through and through, so you can best believe I’m gonna make it cute. It’s also so much easier to stick to schedule as its more visual and easy to remember.

And just like that, Christmas is over!

I really enjoyed gift giving this season. I’ve usually dreaded it but I’ve already deducted a notebook to potential Christmas gifts for 2019. And, of course I have a few ideas for myself.

What was the best gift you received during the festive holidays for you?

Some lovely gifts! I absolutely love that backpack, I would love everything you have shared with us! I kind of want to be more organised, so the planning stickers would be fab and they’re so cute! My favourite gift was probably my self-care journal because I love filling it in and it’s so pretty looking too <3
