3 festive treats I’m excited for this Christmas!

December 12, 2018 in Blog - 1 Comment - 3 min read

Christmas is fast approaching and I could not be more excited. I’m getting fully into the festive season, are you?

I’ve actually wrapped half the presents i’ve already bought for my family and friends. I’m really feeling the idea of having my sh*t together this year. Something I have never felt during festive period.

I think its because i’ve learnt this year to embrace and enjoy the moments given to you during the festive time. Each experience is a gift and part of the holiday.

So I really wanted to share three things I’m looking forward to doing during Christmas. I just can’t wait!

Escape with a Festive Book

Have you ever read Christmas book during the festive period? I haven’t but I’ve seen this on so many Pinterest Christmas bucket lists. So for the last week, I’ve been looking across book shops, for the perfect Christmas read.

I’ve finally found it, Christmas at the Palace. It’s a cute fairy tale book about a girl falling in love with the Prince. The Christmas royal romance story, is something I just love, so I can’t wait to dive in once I break up for the Christmas holidays.

Stroll along the Festive Markets

Christmas markets are so underrated. Lets get that clear. I’ve been to at least three this year and still have two to go.

They are such happy places. It’s so beautiful to see all the christmas decorations up, people munching on mince pies (the best Christmas treat!) and also checking out whats on offer.

I love Christmas markets because, everything you find there is just a little bit different to the mainstream shopping experience. I’ve picked up so many cute things this year and its nice to feel as though your supporting a local business.

Take a trip to Enchanted Cinema

This is something I am most excited for. As I mentioned earlier, I really want to embrace Christmas and make perfect little memories.

So I’m most excited to take my Mum and my boyfriend to see Frozen, with the company Enchanted Cinema.

Enchanted Cinema, is a local company to Cambridge with the passion to make each film experience as creative and magical as possible. So in the Summer, they hosted a lot of outdoor picnic films evenings. Allowing everyone to feel fabulous in desk chairs on a warm evening.

So for the winter they are bringing this inside the Cambridge guildhall. I cannot wait as i’m sure its going to packed full of festive scenery! Its also just a super cute idea. The perfect way to create a fun experience with your loved ones so close to Christmas!

They’re also going to have cute stalls and food stands available from Afternoon Tease to Signorellis Deli.

This will be going on from 20th to 22nd of December and they have a whole host of films on show! Click here to find out what!

So what are you excited for this Christmas?

I’d love for you to share what your excited for this Christmas! What memories are you making? Christmas is such a special time and I can’t wait to create some traditions.

    • 💫 Thank goodness for Sundays! It’s been a long week and I cannot wait to just chill & watch 🎬 movies today. I thought I would give little update on how I’m getting on with the ⭐️NEW #BioluminCeye serum #gifted from @DermalogicaUK. It’s really nice to just brush over your 🧖🏼‍♀️ eyes in the morning & really perks me up (I literally reach for all my morning skincare as soon as I 😴 wake up). My under eye area feels a lot brighter & softer after use from these past couple of weeks. Pretty sure, I’m gonna have to 🛍 restock this one soon! 💖#skinfluencer
    • ✨ if only my week was as magical as these cute little tea lights. This week has literally been sponsored by lemon tea ☕️ & throat sweets 🍬 I’ve been off sick that last couple of days and I can tell you it is not ideal. ❄️ Isn’t the weather so bitterly cold in Cambridge recently? Not great when you’re under the weather with a cold! 🥶💖
    • 💫 And just like that, we’ve got through Monday.👊🏼 I had throughly enjoyed my weekend of just taking things slowly and chilling, I definitely need to have more weekends like this.✨ Since moving, I honestly love just hanging out in our living room because the space is sooo bright (can’t wait for longer ☀️days) and also I just feel so cosy here. 😻 Fee has her little spot at the end, right next to the radiator for the colder days too. I think I just need to get a few more pictures 📸 on the wall (currently being very fussy), maybe some more 🛋 cushions & definitely some more house plants. 🌿 Any home decor reccomendations? 💫
    • 🌟 Sunday’s are for doing the things you love.✨ That’s why my day will consist of 👩🏼‍💻blogging, ☕️ drinking massive amounts tea, 📸 scrapbooking and 📺 binging a little bit of Netflix. What does your Sunday look like? 💖
    • 💫I’m so glad we are hitting Friday tomorrow! Is it just me or has this week lasted for like, a year? I have a new blog post 👩🏼‍💻up though all about one of my new favourite coffee ☕️ spots in Cambridge. ✨ PLEASE go check this place out and treat yo’self if you’re local. The food is just divine. 💖
    • C’est fini! 🎉Really pleased to have finished my third book 📚 of the year & the 1st book of @bethsbookclub_ for 2020. Can I just say, this is SUCH a heartwarming💖 but also heartbreaking story! I didn’t want to love Ove as much as I did but I just couldn’t help it, really looking forward to chatting 👩🏼‍💻to everyone about this book later in the month. Now I need new book 📖 recommendations, what’s on your current reading list? 💫 #2020reads
