Good Old Fashioned Cookies

Just like Nanny used to make

Well we used to make them together. There was no better baker than my Nanny when she was really determined and her hands were all in order. She would always stress that making something perfectly was a wonderful way to show you loved someone. Cookies were a perfect example of that.

Making different types of cookies with Nanny, was always a fun loving treat. This good old fashioned recipe certainly has room for a little tinkering if you want to switch it up and use different chunks of chocolates or perhaps sweets.

However whatever you use, I can assure the recipe will only take 15 minutes maximum to prepare. The following recipe can make up to 25 – 30 cookies, dependant on how big you would like them to be.

The recipe

Old Fashioned Cookies

Of course if you want to change the flavour, you can add two tablespoons of something else, then do so! A huge part of my love for baking comes from being able to experiment on the go and enjoy the creation process. It’s fun!

So here is how you put these scrummy yummy cookies together! It’s so easy, a total newbie could put it all together like a pro. I promise! I’m not a professional baker and have no struggle with this!

And there you have it!

A perfect recipe from top to bottom. This is a perfect cookie recipe to try when your having friends overs and want to serve them something thats extra yummy! I mean, Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned chocolate chip cookie? They’re yummy, gooey and oozing with little pieces of chocolate, to make your heart happy. Just perfection!

Fancy trying another recipe of mine? Why not some tasty protein balls or the yummiest breakfast muffins?

Happy Baking!

Really cannot beat a cookie! I’ve shockingly never made them before though – I feel like I need to!
