This brand had to be one of my all time high street favourites. In terms of packaging, quality and efficiency, I am just in love. For the last couple of years, I have been heavily invested in the NYX lip ranges. They feel forever soft on my lips and last literally the whole say. Something I couldn’t quite believe as every lip product before that has never made it through the day. When I came across the NYX face sculpting palette, I knew I had to try.

So after trusting NYX on their lip products for so long, I’ve decided to branch out and test other products that have been highly recommended. Starting with the NYX face sculpting palette. Im always looking for great products to help shape my face and LOVE it when products come in a set. Its efficient and easy to carry around when wanting a certain look.

The NYX sculpting palette, is made up of three creamy pressed powders. All made to work and blend together. Depending on your skin tone, the palette comes in four shades. My shade is light.

    What do you get?

    The three powders are:

    • Sculpting shade. Perfect for cheekbones.
    • Matte highlight, best used on the T-zone and underneath the eyes.
    • Shimmer highlight, perfect to dab on you cupids bow and along the top of your cheekbones.

When choosing it, in my local boots store, the makeup assistant encourage me to go for a shade darker than I usually would. Why? Firstly, my skin is either a combination for the fairest shade there is or the shades just below. my skin also had warmish pink tones to it, so going up a shade would serve me better during the summer months, where I will tan slightly. (hopefully)

The powders are easily bendable above liquid foundation, which is such a great addition. The NYX sculpting palette powders are light, long lasting and pigmented.

I fully recommend trying this if your looking for a contour sculpting palette thats not too expensive. Its a great palette to start off with, when it comes to practicing and getting a little braver with makeup. It’s only £11 too! Which is a STEAL! The NYX face sculpting palette is defo a worthy investment.
