My favourite instagram accounts of 2017 (and ones to watch in 2018)

December 30, 2017 in Blog - 1 Comment - 3 min read

Despite instagram being slightly shitty this year, I couldn’t resist exploring new accounts for myself. I refused to let the alorythim get me down and went looking for accounts filled with my kind of content. So in order to spread the love at the end of the year, I wanted to share my top ten instagram accounts with you. I truly hope there’s a few you will like in this bunch and if you do, make sure to follow them for yourself, I’m sure they will have great content to share in 2018!

A branch of Holly (@abranchofholly)

Holly popped up on my instagram half way through the year, she’s a marketing writer and blog coach guru. What I like about Holly’s instagram is that theres a mix of professional marketing tips with a personal touch. You don’t feel that she’s trying to sell you something but just trying to start a conversation and keep it going.

The bucket list family (@thebucketlistfamily)

These guys the ultimate travel motivation for me and I just love following their story as they explore the world as a family. There’s something really authentic about them and I had to turn my post notifications on for them.

Wonderlushie(@Wonderlushie

Now I have a mild addiction to lush, my Christmas presents from this year can totally confirm that. However i’m sure my addiction is nothing compared Wonderlushie and her amazing account, completely dedicated to lush! This is seriously you’re go to instagram account to get an honest opinion on lush products and they best way to use them. Wonderlushie also has a blog coming soon in 2018, so get ready!

The Happiness Planner (@happinessplanner)

The happiness planner is the perfect account for inspiration. I recently managed to acquire a happiness planner for myself (look out for a blog post on that, real soon) so being able to pop over to their account for daily aspiration and motivation is just great, exactly what the planner itself is all about. I just love seeing how everyone is using the planner and the tips they offer on how to make it go further.

Esther Wyse (@EstherWyse)

Now Esther is probably one of loveliest bloggers out there on social media and she is seriously keeping her instagram feed in check and full of her lovely adventures whether its in her cooking or her just chatting on the grid. You can really connect with Esther and she’s definitely one to watch for in 2018 – also follow her blog, you will not regret it!

Janet Murray (@JanetMurrayuk

Janet is another favourite of mine of marketing tips and instagram is only one of the channels filled with amazing content from her! She offers a fresh perspective on marketing thats useful for small business but also tips that can be applied to bloggers too! Definitely one to follow if you love marketing conversations as much as I do.

The Instagram Expert (@Theinstagramexpert)

My last and maybe one of my all time favourite accounts has to the instagram expert, you know instagram has been slightly awful this year, and Sue has the perfect account for help and useful tips. Plus she keeps her content fun, the easiest way to learn! So you love instagram as much as I do but find yourself slightly frustrated, this is the account for you.

And there you have it, my instagram highlights from 2017 – who’s been your favourite?

    • 💫 Thank goodness for Sundays! It’s been a long week and I cannot wait to just chill & watch 🎬 movies today. I thought I would give little update on how I’m getting on with the ⭐️NEW #BioluminCeye serum #gifted from @DermalogicaUK. It’s really nice to just brush over your 🧖🏼‍♀️ eyes in the morning & really perks me up (I literally reach for all my morning skincare as soon as I 😴 wake up). My under eye area feels a lot brighter & softer after use from these past couple of weeks. Pretty sure, I’m gonna have to 🛍 restock this one soon! 💖#skinfluencer
    • ✨ if only my week was as magical as these cute little tea lights. This week has literally been sponsored by lemon tea ☕️ & throat sweets 🍬 I’ve been off sick that last couple of days and I can tell you it is not ideal. ❄️ Isn’t the weather so bitterly cold in Cambridge recently? Not great when you’re under the weather with a cold! 🥶💖
    • 💫 And just like that, we’ve got through Monday.👊🏼 I had throughly enjoyed my weekend of just taking things slowly and chilling, I definitely need to have more weekends like this.✨ Since moving, I honestly love just hanging out in our living room because the space is sooo bright (can’t wait for longer ☀️days) and also I just feel so cosy here. 😻 Fee has her little spot at the end, right next to the radiator for the colder days too. I think I just need to get a few more pictures 📸 on the wall (currently being very fussy), maybe some more 🛋 cushions & definitely some more house plants. 🌿 Any home decor reccomendations? 💫
    • 🌟 Sunday’s are for doing the things you love.✨ That’s why my day will consist of 👩🏼‍💻blogging, ☕️ drinking massive amounts tea, 📸 scrapbooking and 📺 binging a little bit of Netflix. What does your Sunday look like? 💖
    • 💫I’m so glad we are hitting Friday tomorrow! Is it just me or has this week lasted for like, a year? I have a new blog post 👩🏼‍💻up though all about one of my new favourite coffee ☕️ spots in Cambridge. ✨ PLEASE go check this place out and treat yo’self if you’re local. The food is just divine. 💖
    • C’est fini! 🎉Really pleased to have finished my third book 📚 of the year & the 1st book of @bethsbookclub_ for 2020. Can I just say, this is SUCH a heartwarming💖 but also heartbreaking story! I didn’t want to love Ove as much as I did but I just couldn’t help it, really looking forward to chatting 👩🏼‍💻to everyone about this book later in the month. Now I need new book 📖 recommendations, what’s on your current reading list? 💫 #2020reads
